When I initially received this I was disappointed that the design was not purple and gray - the gray is actually a taupe. Also, the duvet is definitely an ivory color and not white. Another flaw is that after you wash it, it wrinkles terribly so you have to iron it out. Once ironed though it looks beautiful. It's not a super fancy top of the line duvet, but very practical, nice looking, and comfy.

I recently painted my room a light lilac color and thought this was the perfect accent to brighten things up and tie them together! The duvet cover is pictured as a bright, cheerful ivory with a minimal yet eye-catching design. When I opened the package, I honestly thought I was sent something completely different and called customer service and looked online to see which duvet this was. It turns out they sent the right duvet, but it looks absolutely NOTHING like it's pictured online. The duvet is NOT ivory, it is a very dark beige color, there is floral embroidery all over it - not just elegantly placed in one area of the duvet, making the design look more homey and country rather than fresh and modern. The duvet is soft, but also easily susceptible to wrinkling.

The picture and description of this item were both somewhat misleading. I loved the design, but when it said "embroidered", I was expecting a few fully embroidered flowers and not a few running stitches on top of a flower design woven into the fabric. I would have forgiven the lack of embroidery, but that which was there was sloppy and poorly registered with the outline of the floral image in the fabric. I had been eagerly anticipating the arrival of this set, but was disappointed when I saw it in person.
