The design is so pretty and the quality is great, but when you think of "Ebony", you think of a very dark black. This had a purple hue to it which is quite disappointing. I would recommend this to a friend, but maybe in a different color.

I've had numerous onna Karen quilts in the past and generally love them. But this one is just not up to par. In fact its very stiff and doesn't really feel that great to sleep under.
Unfortunately - I thought it would soften with washing and it has not. Now its too late to return. bummer.

Beauitful as well as functional.

This is a gorgeous quilt. I keep it folded at the end of the bed for the really cold nights because I prefer the softness/poofiness of a down comforter and it works perfect. I even tried it by itself for a couple nights after I received it and it wasn't heavy and kept me at the perfect temp all night. Definitely would recommend this to others.
